PURPOSE:To obtain an automatic feeder, whereby tapping work can be also performed in addition to the work of drilling and reaming, by eccentrically providing a prime moving shaft and a driven shaft, respectively fixing wheels with a cam to the both shafts and disengageably operating each cam, or the like. CONSTITUTION:In the case of application to a drilling machine in which a tool, not shown in the drawing, is lifted by rotation of a feed rod 8 through the engagement of a pinion on the rod 8 with rack, supporting frames 15, 16 fixed by bolts 18 with a certain distance apart through spacers 17 are equipped, and a wheel 19 of major contour is fixed to an end part of the feed rod 8 protruded between the both frames 15, 16. While a wheel 25 of minor contour is fixed to the end of a prime moving shaft 22, having its axial core O2 in a position eccentrically apart by a distance (e) from the axial core O1 of the rod 8, of a motor 23 fixed to the frame 16. Then a feed device is constituted so that the feed rod 8 is rotated a required angle by engaging roller cams 20, 26 supported to the peripheral part of each wheel 19, 25 while inversely reset with a spring or the like by disengaging said roller cams. |
