An anti-theft/slipping device comprises a hub (1) and three radially extending arms (10, 11 and 12) which are disposed at an angle to each other and are bent to extend over the periphery of a vehicle wheel. Two arms (10 and 11) are permanently mounted on the hub and the third arm (12) is releasably mounted to permit removal of the device. By providing one of the arms with a short radial extension 18, the device can be used as a vehicle security device. Alternating bent-over portions of the arms can be provided with outwardly facing serrations to form snow-grips. |
