PURPOSE:To have automatic carrying-out of pallets one after another by raising a combination of pallets and objects, which are carried in by a incoming conveyor and piled up alternately one sort over the other, bearing those situated at second stage and above with a fork upon using a lifter, sensing the position, and by carrying out then the undermost combination by a conveyor. CONSTITUTION:A mass R of pallets P and objects Q piled up alternately one sort over the other is transferred onto an incoming conveyor, where a pallet size sensor will senses the width of a pallet P, and a pallet stopper 21 performs center alignment of the pallet with a fork 13. A lifter 4 raised first at its full stroke, i.e. up to a position near the fork 13, is then sunk in order to provide sensing of the space S of pallet P2 designed to allow insertion of the fork, using a sensor unit 16, and after the fork 13 is inserted in this space S, the lifter 4 is sunk to permit automatic separation of the pallet P1 and object Q1 from those P2-P4 and Q2-Q4. Then conveyor of the lifter 4 is put in operation to send out the pallet P1 and object Q1 onto an outgoing conveyor 3. |
