PURPOSE:To reduce molding failure by forming only the component parts of an opening for introducing resin into a molding part in a separable form. CONSTITUTION:A part corresponding to a gate of a cavity lock is cut off and a gate-part inner separating element 9 as designated by the diagonal lines is inserted there. Namely the die is composed of a cavity part 1, a runner part 2 and the gate part 9. A stopper of the gate part 9 is arranged so that a projecting plane of the gate part 9 is fitted in cavity planes arranged on the cavity part 1 and the runner part 2. As the gate part 9 is of a separable type, if this part is distorted, restoration can be done by exchange of only this part, thereby enabling maintenance and fabrication of low costs and in a short time. Also, for the gate part 9 and the cavity part 1, different materials are available respectively so that the resistance to wear of the gate part 9 is substantially improved. |
