PURPOSE:To obtain an insulating filler which can be hardened easily without leakage sealing or the like by composing the insulating filler which fills the interstices around a magnetic core of an insulating and thermosetting solvent and magnetic powder which is dissolved in it. CONSTITUTION:An insulating filler 11 is composed of an insulating and thermosetting solvent such as insulating varnish and fine ferromagnetic powder of ferrite system which is dissolved in the solvent and fills the interstices 7, 10 by a method such as coating or impregnating while a current is applied to the field coil 3 of a rotating machine. With this constitution, the insulating filler 11 which contains the magnetic powder is held between the slot 9 and the field coil 3 and between a stator 1 and a frame 2 by a magnetic attraction force distributing around the magnetic core. The filler is then hardened by the heat produced by the field coil 3 and becomes solid. |
