<p>PURPOSE:To allowing a convergent optical transmitter array to photodetect reflected light from the part facing a slit in a body to be read and to obtain high resolving power through simple constitution by arranging an antireflection mask which has the slit opposite to the body to be read. CONSTITUTION:The antireflection mask 6 abuts on the reverse surface of the platen 8 of an optical reader and one slit 7 is formed in the mask 6 where an original 3 is read. This mask 6 is moved together with the convergent optical transmitter array 1 in one body. Light which is emitted by the light source 4 of this reader and photodetected by an end surface 1a of the transmitter array 1 is only reflected light from the part read through the slit 7. Then, reflected light except from the read part is prevented to be made incident to an image sensor 5 and information on an original 3 with high resolution is read by a reading head.</p> |
