摘要 PURPOSE:To form a pulse train of a frequency proportional to a square of an input signal voltage with a simple constitution by performing on/off control of an output of a voltage current converting circuit in response to an output of a pulse width modulating circuit and using a switching element outputting a current pulse train where the average current value is proportional to the square of an input signal voltage. CONSTITUTION:The pulse width modulating circuit 1 consists of an integration circuit 7, a Schmitt circuit 8, and an FET9 and generates a pulse train signal where the duty ratio is proportional to an input signal voltage V1. This pulse signal is applied to an FET3 performing on/off-control of the voltage current converting circuit 2 and the current pulse train signal where the average current value is proportional to the square of the input signal voltage V1 is applied to a capacitor C2. A pulse signal having a frequency proportional to the input average current value is obtained by the capacitor C2, a voltage comparison circuit 5, a pulse generating circuit 6 and a transistor Q2.
