The invention relates to new products prepared from serum thymic factor (Facteur Thymique Serique-FTS) or from its analogs and derivatives, to the use of these products as medicaments and to the use of these products for the preparation of tracers for radio-immunological detection processes. These new products are prepared by treating FTS or its analogs and derivatives with a metal or a metal-containing protein substance. The products thus obtained show increased biological activity in relation to the products from which they are derived. These products may be used as medicaments for the treatment of illnesses attributable to an unbalance of T lymphocytea.
