SAFETY APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR USING SAME FOR PREVENTING EXPLOSIVE FAILURE OF A HIGH PRESSURE COMBUSTION FURNACE A safety apparatus and method for using same to prevent explosive failure of a high pressure combustion furnace wherein the apparatus includes a housing adapted to be mounted about the high pressure combustion furnace forming a safety chamber therebetween for flowing a safety fluid therethrough, utilizing pressure means for maintaining the safety fluid at a pressure greater than the internal operating pressures within the high pressure combustion furnace to prevent explosive failure thereof.
