PURPOSE:To feed any size of beads from the production line to the next process while keeping the beads in vertical state by a method in which a rocking arm is provided on the feeding line of beads and a finger is provided to the tip of the rocking arm through a horizon-holding mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A strut 3 is provided on the feed line of tire beads between the production line of beads and the next process, and a rocking driver 5 is provided through a support plate 4 at the top of the strut 3. The driver 5 consists of a rotary actuator 6, a coupling 7, and a bearing unit 8. An arm 10 is attached to the tip of an outut shaft 9 extending from the bearing unit 8. A horizon-holding mechanism, consisting of a sprocket 15 turnable through the shaft 14 and a chain 17 laid on a sprocket 16 with the same gear ratio, attached to the side of the bearing unit 8, is provided at the tip of the arm 10, and a finger 12 to support the upper part of beads W is attached to the mechanism 11. A counter balance 13 is also attached to the rear end of the mechanism 11. |
