PURPOSE:To utilize effectively the heat of exhaust gases from a pressure reduced and balanced frictional heat generating mechanism for heating by a method wherein the abovementioned mechanism is provided in a hollow chamber and a fluid heat exchange mechanism is provided on the exhaust side of the mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The pressure reduced and balanced frictional heat generating mechanism 2 is provided in the hollow chamber 1 and the fluid heat exchange mechanism 15 comprising layers of plate-like members formed of a number of parallelly arranged synthetic resin pipes and laid one above another is provided on the exhaust side of the abovementioned mechanism 2. With the above structure, exhaust gases from the mechanism 2 exchange heat with water flowing through a fluid passage 16 in the fluid heat exchange mechanism and the resultant heated water enters a storage tank 18 through the fluid passage 16 so that it is possible to use the water in the storage tank 18 as a heat source for other purposes and to utilize effectively the heat of the exhaust gases from the mechanism 2 for heating. |
