PURPOSE:To prevent torque shock likely to occur when transition is made into the secondary position, in a one-barrel type carburettor having a sufficient section area of intake passage equivalent to two barrels, by increasing the fuel on applicable occasions. CONSTITUTION:At a venturi 12 are formed No.1 main nozzle 17, which supplies the fuel from a float chamber 14 to the suction passage 9 through No.1 main jet 15 and No.1 main fuel passage 16 by the use of venturi neg. pressure in correspondence to the opening of a throttle valve 13 and the number of revolutions for engine, and No.2 main nozzle 20, which is opened and closed by a valve 19 operated by a solenoid 18. Because the portion of fuel attached to the suction passage 9 is refilled when transition to the secondary position is made, first the valve 19 is opened and after a time of t1, a suction control valve 11 is fully opened by the use of a stepping motor 10, so as to obtain a rich mixture gas. |
