The mechanism delivers items to a container by means of an endless belt running round a roller near one end. At the other end, the belt (1) runs round a truck (3) movable to and from and on which there are two rollers. The belt is clampable to the first or second roller as desired. The truck can also be moved to and fro in steps of unequal lengths.
