The feed for (2) providing the mixture of air and mineral wool, consists of a tank (4) containing bales of mineral wool. Inside the tank is a rotor with peripheral pins (6) for unravelling the wool, after which the wool passes through a disintegrator rotor (9). The wool then enters a rotary sleeve valve with nine partitions. A ventilator generated air flow is then directed through apertures (14). The discharge (16) is connected to hose (17) ending in a two branch T-piece. A nozzle piece then enters through a hole in the brickwork to provide pressure controlled injection of the filling.
