PURPOSE:To enable a completion of returning-back operation to be informed without providing additional display units by a method wherein a content of display at the display unit is reset to eliminate the displayed content after a flow rate is measured for a specified period of time with signals from a returning-back signal input part. CONSTITUTION:A main control part 6 has various flow rate data which may be applied as a reference for a shut-off operation etc., and detects a released gas cock and a non-diminished condition of the combustion unit and at the same time outputs display data in response to the kind of flow rate data so as to inform the condition. Further, when a return signal is input to a return signal input circuit 5 during a manual returning operation of the shut-off part 8, a flow rate is measured again and a fact that no flow rate pulse is present for a specified period of time is acknowledged, the cause of shut-off operation is eliminated and the fact that a returning operation has been positively performed can be informed to the operator.
