PURPOSE:To extract the picture information useful to diagnosis and to improve the accuracy of diagnosis for medical picture diagnosing device by filtering the original picture with desired density. CONSTITUTION:An original picture stored in an original picture store memory 1 is filtered and stored, and at the same time the weight set by a variable resistor 7 is applied to the filtered picture by a picture constant multiplying device 4. Thus it is possible to put a filtered picture of desired density on the original picture for display since the filtered picture is added and synthesized with the original picture at a level corresponding to said weight. In such a way, the filtered picture obtained by emphasizing a useful image can be put on the original picture at a desired level of weight to improve the accuracy of the diagnosis. |
