PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture of a coil unit by engaging inner and outer cylindrical coils in which strands of the same number with equal length have axially opposite inclination so that the strands are radially superposed at the ends, radially forming grooves and flowing solder. CONSTITUTION:Inner and outer coil cylinders 11, 12 in which strands 1 of the same number with equal length have axially opposite inclination are engaged so that the strands 1 are radially superposed at the ends. Then, a radial insulating layer 7 between the strands 1 of the inner and outer cylindrical coils is removed by dipping in an etchant or by etching so that the circumferential insulating layer 7 of the strands 1 remain at the ends of the inner and outer cylindrical coils, V-shaped grooves 2 are radially formed, and solder 4 is flowed into the groove 2. In this manner, the number of the steps of manufacturing is reduced to produce a coil unit which is preferably finished. |
