PURPOSE:To effectively control the energization of a stator winding by controlling the energization of the winding with a gate signal based on the variation in the induced voltage produced in the deenergized stator winding. CONSTITUTION:Stator windings 20-25 are provided at the teeth of a stator. A controller 28 generates a gate signal based on the variation in the induced voltage produced in stator windings 20-25 at deenergizing time to turn ON or OFF switching elements 29-34. The controller 28 counts an induced voltage produced between the terminals of the windings 22, 25 and a neutral point when the windings 20, 23, 21, 24 are, for example, energized and particularly the time from when the energization of the windings 22, 25 is interrupted to when becoming zero voltage, turns ON the switching elements 31, 33 after the time from when the induced voltage becomes zero voltage, turns OFF the switching elements 29, 30, 32, 34, thereby energizing V-phase and W-phase. Then, the energizations are sequentially switched to rotate a rotor. |
