PURPOSE:To ensure an effective control of process by storing previously the output value of an automatic setting mode to an output buffer and eliminating the impact produced when an automatic operation is switched to a manual operation. CONSTITUTION:When a command is given from a console 1 for switching a manual setting mode to an automatic setting mode, an output arithmetic device 4 approximates the command value G to the output value B of a quality controller 2 with a prescribed time constant based on the manual setting command value G, the output value B and the timer value H delivered from a timer device 9. Then the process value is switched to the manual setting mode from the automatic setting mode in the quite unexpected timing. The output E of the automatic setting mode is previously stored in an output buffer 5, and the output state is held although the setting mode is switched. Thus the output is not switched and therefore no impact is produced from mode switching operations. While the output value is always informed to the side of the console 1, and therefore a manual operation is set smoothly. |
