PURPOSE:In a device for making a fluidized layer of silica sand by feeding a fludizing gas from the lower part, to avoid blocking of silica sand at the inner face of peripheral wall, by making the flow velocity of the fludizing gas at the side of peripheral wall higher than at the central side of a container. CONSTITUTION:A production device for raw material for producing glass is constructed by arranging the preheater A, the reactor B and the granulator C in series. Silica sand is fed from the conveyor D and dropped in the container 1 of the preheater A, a gas is fed to it by the feeder 2 for fludizing gas from the lower part, so that the silica sand is fluidized. The fluidizing gas is separated into ( I ) a path to send it from the pipe 4a, the chamber 5a, and the feed opening 3a to the part of the peripheral wall 1A in the container 1 and (II) a path to send it from the pipe 4b, the chamber 5b, and the feed opening 3b to the central part in the container 1, and the feed velocity of the gas in the path 1 is higher than that in the path II. A fluidizing gas is fed to the reactor B by the similar method. |
