PURPOSE:To detect the page number and the printed line of a bankbook and to find out a misprint and the missing of print by comparing a data with a data relating to a page mark stored in advance. CONSTITUTION:The bankbook arriving at a bankbook printer is carried by a line feed processing until the reading position of an optical character reader 31 reaches a regin where a page mark is recorded. The reader 31 stops at a position of a print start position sensor 18 at the initial state, and a signal of the sensor 18 is a high level. Thus, a CPU11 sets a count data of a print digit for the picture element reading to a counter 24, and gives the signal of a motor driving forward and reverse to a print motor drive circuit, and gives the detection permission signal of the page mark to a printed character detecting circuit 32 and becomes in standby state until the reading of data for one picture element's share is performed. A pulse signal from a waveform shaping circuit 23 is applied to the print character detecting circuit 32 by the start of the print motor 21 and the data arrangement for the one line of a dot is processed. |
