PURPOSE:To form a thin film head on each inclined body, to prepare the accuray of the size betwen respective heads highly accurately and to reduce a rotary magnetic head device at its size and weight by laminating a lower core and an upper core on the inclined surface of each inclined body through a non-magnetic insulating film with the thickness corresponding to a gap. CONSTITUTION:Respective divided cylindrical bodies 29a, 29b of a rotary cylinder 28 are covered with nonmagnetic substance layers 30a, 30b consisting of ceramics or the like at the external circumferential part and adhered to magnetic bodies 31a, 31b such as ''Permalloy'' and ferrite at the inside. Non-magnetic inclined bodies 33, 33' having inclination corresponding to an azimuth angle thetaA on both pasted surfaces 32, 32' of the nonmagnetic substance layer 30 are formed on one divided cylindrical body 29a so that respective inclined directions are opposed about an axial line with each other. The lower core 34 and the upper core consisting of magnetic substance films such as ''Permalloy'' and ''Sendust'' are laminated on the surface of each nonmagnetic inclined body 33, 33' through the nonmagnetic insulating film 36 having the thickness corresponding to the gap G and then a protecting film 37 consisting of Al2O3, SiO2, etc. is formed on the surface of the upper core 35. |
