PURPOSE:To enable beautiful correction by using a correcting liquid consisting of ethyl lactate alone or consisting essentially thereof without requiring the combination use of erasing rubber and to decrease toxicity and danger for fire. CONSTITUTION:Several kinds of resins, for example, styrenic resin, acrylic resin, polyester resin, epoxy resin, phenolic resin, and fluroplastic are used mixedly in general for a toner. Ethyl lactate does not have the solubility performance to the extent of dissolving many kinds of resins and therefore it dissolves or swells just a part of the resins in the toner in the stage of correction. The corrected part causes consequently flake-like exfoliation without forming a fine particle or liquid and the flake-like piece can be easily wiped away by toilet- paper or the like. The surface wiped of said pieces has a beautiful surface and does not require the use of erasing rubber. The ethyl lactate has both high b.p. and flash point and has no worry for toxicity to human body. |
