PURPOSE:In the titled reactor by feeding an alkali solution to a fluidized layer of silica sand to carry out a reaction, to form a raw material for producing glass having uniform distribution of sulfate (sulfite), by providing a feeder of sulfur oxide for the fluidized layer. CONSTITUTION:A production device for raw material for producing glass is constructed by arranging the preheater 1, the reactor 2, and the granulator 3 in series. In the reactor 2, silica sand introduced from the preheater 1 is fluidized by air sent from the pipe 2B, and the blade 2C rotated through the motor M and the revolving shaft 2D, it is fed through the path 9b, and the jetting hole 9a to a solution of caustic soda, and reacted.
