The invention relates to a housing for holding the electrical components which are required for connecting a magnetic coil, which housing has a connecting plate with plug holders and a trough-like upper part for holding the components, and forms a holder, which is open at the sides, for the plug, between the connecting plate and the upper part. The construction of the housing can be simplified with absolutely captive fixing of the plug on the housing in that the connecting plate and the trough-like upper part are integrally connected to one another by means of a terminating wall or the like on the side facing away from the insertion side of the holder for the plug, and in that a slide can be connected to the housing, which slide at least partially covers the plug which is inserted into the holder, at least on the insertion side which is opposite the terminating wall of the housing.
