PURPOSE:To facilitate quick reading, by providing a steering shaft with a mechanism for supporting the base of an indicator at a standstill despite the rotation of the steering shaft. CONSTITUTION:When a steering wheel 30 is turned, a support 41 and a main steering shaft 40 are rotated for steering. Since gears 43a, 43b and gears 39, 42 are equal in the number of teeth, the arc-shaped displacement of a coupling member 43 due to the rotation of the support 41 is equal to the relative displacement between the support and the gear 42. For that reason, the gear 42 is not rotated relative to the gear 39, so that an operating panel 31 is not turned, regardless of the turning of the steering wheel 30. Electric power is supplied to an indicating board 31 through slip rings 451, 462 and brushes SA2, SA1. |
