<p>PURPOSE:To easily obtain a silicone rubber roll useful for a fixing roll for a copying machine without mark of carcking by providing a silicone rubber hardening layer on the surface of a cylindrical shaft mounted into an upright bottomed cylindrical mold containing a liquid silicone rubber composition. CONSTITUTION:For example, a vertically movable rod section 14 connected to a centering shaft anchor device 13 is provided on the bottom 12 of an upright bottomed cylndrical mold 11. A shaft anchor device 13 is retained intermediately in the mold 11 with the rod section 14 pressed on the bottom 12 and a liquid silicone rubber (a room temperature heardening type) 15 is injected. Then, a shaft 17 suspended on a lid body 16 is lowered into a die and mounted on the shaft anchoring device 13. Then, the shaft 17 is pushed down to lower the rod section 14 and the surface of the shaft 17 is surrounded with a silicone rubber 15 to form a silicone hardening layer. EFFECT:This makes the whole surface uniform while eliminating poorly hardened part and bubbling thereby enabling immediate commercialization.</p> |
