In a low-pass filter for electrical loads, such as AC/DC rectifiers or the like, having a rectifier circuit and an inductor coil having at least one winding and an iron core, it is intended to reduce the load dependency as far as possible and, furthermore, it is intended to achieve an adequate filtering effect over a wide frequency range. For this purpose, the winding of the inductor 4 is provided with a tap 10 which is connected to the rectifier circuit 1, and the end of the winding of the inductor 4 is connected via a capacitor 11 to a supply line 2 for the rectifier circuit 1. <IMAGE>
