In a hand shower as a sanitary fitting, the shower housing (10) formed on a handle (11) with an inflow channel (12) is equipped with a hemispherical pressure chamber (14) which sets in circulating motion the water flowing in under pressure (inflow nozzle 13) with inclusion of an air core (17). The few holes (16) of a perforated shut-off plate (15) bounding the pressure chamber (14) are scavenged with water until the compressed air core (17) expands and thereby pushes the water out of the holes (16) in a jerky manner. Such a process is constantly repeated, so that the water from the passage holes (23) exits pulsatingly. Moreover, the shower head (20) can be constructed so as to be capable of rotation around a central pin (18), thus forming detent connection, the pulsating water being conducted round via the bores (28) to the shower openings (27) of the shower head (20). <IMAGE>
