In a valve for a compressed fluid line, having a valve housing (10) which contains a shut-off device between an inlet opening (15) and an outlet opening (16) and a second outlet opening (28), which line can be closed by a valve cone (24) connected to a valve stem (23) on which a compression spring acts, the compression spring (32) surrounding the valve stem (23) being supported on the outside of the valve housing (10) and on a flanged nut (55) which is screwed onto the valve stem (23) and is provided with a cap (57), a stop bush (60) is screwed into a central threaded hole (63) in the flanged nut (55), which stop bush (60) has a circumferential groove (61) which originates from its external circumference and has a rubber-elastic ring (62) inserted therein. In this way, a specific maximum pretensioning of the compression spring (32) can be set by screwing the flanged nut (55) onto the valve stem (23) into the position corresponding to the pretensioning, and can be fixed by subsequently screwing the stop bush (60) with the ring (62) into the threaded hole (59) of the flanged nut (55). Because of the self-locking effect of the ring (62), it is not possible to screw the stop bush (60) back out of the threaded hole (59), so that, if the flanged nut (55) is screwed off the valve stem (23) and is screwed on again, only the specific pretensioning of the compression spring (32) is achieved which, in the event of resting on the ...
