PURPOSE:To display accurately the replacement time of a battery of a clock by detecting whether the operation time reaches a certain time or not to discriminate the life of the battery. CONSTITUTION:When a day counter 6 reaches a count value corresponding to the number of days in a month indicated by a month counter 8, the day counter outputs a month end carry. When a battery counter 12 which counts the month end carry counts the number of months corresponding 18 to the length of the life of the battery, for example, one year and 6 months, the battery counter 12 outputs a carry signal. A battery state detecting circuit 13 drives the battery replacement indicating part 11a of an indicator 11 through a data bus 9 and a decoder 10 in response to the carry signal to perform the indication urging the replacement of the battery. |
