PURPOSE:To measure the coming direction of radio waves, by flowing a half- wave rectified current to each diode so that two antenna circuits are turned on successively by selecting pulses which overlap two half-wave rectified waveforms complementary to each other for every half cycle and inserting a constant current circuit to a common return circuit. CONSTITUTION:Antennas are not switched momently by a switching circuit but are switched gradually while two antenna outputs overlap in accordance with a half-wave rectified waveform. Only one antenna is turned on at the peak point of the half-wave rectified waveform, and the next antenna output overlaps gradually after passing the peak point, and switching advances in this manner; and therefore, when this receiver output is detected, it is not an impulse, and the phase is changed very slowly between the peak point of the switching half-wave rectified wave and the next peak point to attain a signal having a slow change. This signal is integrated to attain a waveform having the original phase, and it is compared with a reference signal in phase, thereby detecting the direction of coming radio waves. |
