An apparatus for delivering disinfectant and detergent/colourant which includes a plastic container which forms a cavity, in which a solid tablet of disinfectant is supported and in which it is possible to form a disinfecting solution, and an inlet/outlet conduit in the bottom of said container for emptying the cavity of solution solely by means of flow under gravity when the lavatory is discharged (flushed), the inlet/outlet conduit including an inverted U elbow (bend) and a hole near its lower end, the size in terms of transverse section of the inlet/outlet conduit being such that an air pocket (airlock) will be maintained in said conduit during normal use. |
