In a flat-chamber heat exchanger having two parallel metal plates which are held at a distance from one another by at least one insertion element, accompanied by the formation of an interspace, and are connected to one another on at least one side, is intended to be economic and simple to produce while having a high output.
<??>For this purpose, spacer discs (4, 4h) determining the distance (i, h) between the two metal plates (1, 5; 24, 25) are distributed with a pitch (t, y) and welded to the two metal surfaces (2) facing one another. Moreover, the metal plates can, with the formation of different cross-sections of the interspace, be corrugated or be provided with at least one shoulder-like step, so that the interspace is stepped at different levels.
<??>A device for producing this flat-chamber heat exchanger provides for the metal plates (1, 5) guided at a distance (i) from one another a movement path which is arranged - inclined at an angle (w) to the horizontal (H) - between electrodes (11, 12), a strand of a belt (14) which is assigned outside the movement path of the metal plates to a magazine or the like running in the interspace (6) between the metal plates.
