Rotating platform for metrology purposes.

摘要

The rotating platform for a metrological rig consists of a disc- shaped equipment-carrying platform (1) with means for supporting it and for driving the disc (1) in rotation. The equipment-carrying platform (1) is formed from a granite block. The means for supporting the disc comprise a set of devices (4) generating individual air cushions located under the disc (1), means for the selective control (27) of the air-cushion devices (4), and means (3) for supporting the disc when at rest. The said means for driving the disc in rotation consist of a centre pin producing the rotation of the disc without radial play but with axial play. Application to metrology. <IMAGE>
