PURPOSE:To record satisfactorily both picture information and sound information to the same recording medium by driving the recording medium in different modes with the picture information and the sound information respectively. CONSTITUTION:A record control circuit 18 gives a record indication to a picture information recording circuit 13 and reads pictures from a photoelectric transducer 4 to convert it into a record signal. These record signals are supplied to a recording head 15 for picture information, and the picture information is recorded to a magnetic disk 8. While a sound information recording circuit 14 converts the sound signal into record signal by an indication given from the circuit 18 and applies those record signals to a recording head 16 for sound information. Thus the sound information is recorded to the disk 8. Then the circuit 18 rotates the disk 8 by a motor at a speed corresponding to each information. The head 16 is adjacent to the head 15, and both heads are tracked in one body. Therefore it is possible to accompany and record both picture information by recording the sound information prior to the picture one. |
