<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the excellent efficiency of treatment, by rotating a shaft having an outer surface to which many supporting members for activated sludge extending along a direction crossing an axis are attached in a biomembrane apparatus for filthy water disposal. CONSTITUTION:In a moving bed 1, many supporting members 3 for activated sludge extending along a direction crossing the axis of a shaft 2 are radiately arranged at the back and forth multistages, pref. in a herical state. Said moving bed 1 is provided inside a disposal tank 6 in a manner such that the bed 1 is immersed in filthy water therein, and the shaft 2 is rotated by a motor 5. Filty water to be treated, e.g. waste water from living or industrial waste water, is sent from a raw water tank 7 to the tank 6 by a pump 8 and aerated by a device 9 to let activated sludge adhere onto the surfaces of the members 3. Then, the filthy water is brought into contact with said activated sludge to perform microbic treatment.</p> |
