PURPOSE:To reduce forming cost, and to form surely and smoothly the seaming along the longitudinal edge of continuously formed sheets, by arranging the sheets in series according to a process from a cutting of coiled material to a continuous forming of flat seam roofing. CONSTITUTION:A coil 2 coiled around a feeding roll 1 is taken out and is cut by a shearing machine 5 while feeding chucks 3 with the aid of a cylinder 4, and is transferred with the aid of a cylinder 8, etc. while chucking them by chucks 6, 7, then the edges of cut sheet for seaming are formed by actuating folding dies 9a, 9b. Next the edges are folded by plunger punches 12a, 12b actuated by cylinders 11, 11. The folds of the continuously formed sheets are perfectly staked by actuating a fold staking lower die 14 with the aid of a cylinder 13 and actuating successively a die 16, for crush staking a joining part itself, with the aid of a cylinder 15 and actuating further a seaming staking upper die 18 with the aid of a cylinder 17. |
