PURPOSE:To minimize required capacity of conservator and reduce the size by forming a oil passing hole at a side plate of tank locating on the upper surface position of iron core, corresponding to the position of oil passing groove of iron core at the inside of tank and by providing an oil gauge through such oil passing hole. CONSTITUTION:An oil passing hole 19 is provided at the area corresponding to the upper surface of iron core 1 of the side plate 5a of conservator, an oil gauge glass 13 is tightly arranged, through a packing 17, onto an oil gauge seat 15 provided at the lower side of the oil passing hole 19. When it is fixed to a seat 15, an oil gauge 6 is located to the position corresponding to the upper surface of iron core 1 of the side plate 5a of conservator and thereby an oil level at the upper surface of iron core can be detected. Where the initial oil level is considered as h3, it is no longer necessary to consider the gap h1 between the upper surface of upper plate 3a of tank and the upper surface of iron core 1, and h3 can be made small and accordingly amount of oil initially supplied, namely amount of oil of transformer can be reduced. |
