PURPOSE:To prevent the quality deterioration of a hard copy due to mixing of noises for a scanning mechanism which drives a light emitter for exposure by a mechanical mechanism, by using a light transmitting means to transmit the picture signal sent from a fixed part. CONSTITUTION:A revolving body 17 is attached to a motor 23 which performs revolutions for main scan, and plural light emitters 21 for exposure having different output wavelengths. The revolving body 17 is revolved for main scanning by the motor 23 and at the same time undergoes a secondary scanning in the linear direction by a secondary scanning motor 30. The picture signal is transmitted to the emitter 21 from a light emitting element 16 set at a fixed part through a photodetecting element 18. The fixed parts 4-15 process a signal 1 sent from a video disk, an R/G/B signal 2 for TV and a digital color signal 3 obtained from a digital picture memory and then transmits with no contact the picture signal to a scan mechanism part via light emitters 16 and 18. A conversion table 12 contains color-based tables and corrects the nonlinear distortions on a transmission line when it converts the digital color signal into a combination of the light emitting time and the light emitting intensity. |
