PURPOSE:To form corrugated fins having no bends with good productivity by unbending the corrugated fins bend by louvering to an S shape after the louvering. CONSTITUTION:An Al material 7 wound on an un-coiler 6 is passed continuously between a pair of corrugating gears 9 while a prescribed tension is applied thereon by tension rolls 8, and is subjected to bending and shearing by louvering to a waveform, whereby the material is formed to a prescribed fin shape and size. A prescribed pitch is given to the material by a pitch determining device 10 and thereafter the material is subjected to unbending and setting with a bending roll 13, a bending roll 14 and two feed rolls 15 of a roll type setting device. The number of crests of the fins is counted with a counter 11 and the material is cut to the prescribed number of crests with a cutter 12, whereby corrugated fins 1A having no bends are continuously produced at the same working speed as in a conventional corrugated fin manufacturing device. |
