PURPOSE:To perform automatically the equalization of delay distortion at a circuit distortion equalizing system for data transmission using an analog circuit, by switching successively plural delay equalizers and connecting then to the subsequent automatic equalizer, then stopping the scan when the equalization is achieved satisfactorily. CONSTITUTION:When the data transmitted from a transmission part SEND is equalized at a reception part REC, the distortion measured previously is equalized by a delay equalizer DELAY-EQL. The subsequent circuit distortion is equalized by an automatic equalizer AUTO-EQL. An input signal is applied to a terminal (a) to actuate a start stopping part STARTSTOP. Then a relay RL switches successively the equalizers through a sequencer part SEQ, and the error rate is measured for the output (b) of that time point. When the error rate is set at <=1/1000, a control deciding part CONT transmits a stop signal. |
