PURPOSE:To provide stable operation with ease, by arranging the inlet-side pole piece disposed between the electron gun portion and the input junction to fit in the bottom end plate of the electromagnet through a movable ring at the time the microwave tube is mounted on the electromagnet. CONSTITUTION:A microwave tube apparatus is constructed by mounting a microwave tube formed of an electron gun portion 1, inlet coupling 2, a high- frequency coupling 3, an output coupling 4, and a collector 5 on an electromagnet 6. The microwave tube is provided with an input-side pole piece 7 and an output-side pole 8, and microwave tube is set up in the manner that the input- side pole piece 7 is riding on the bottom end plate 10 of the electromagnet 6 through a movable ring 11. Thus, the input-side pole piece 7 is supported to serve as the standard for positioning of the microwave tube and the electromagnet 6 in the axial direction, while the positioning in the radial direction is also made possible, so that variation in dimensional tolerances and so on are absorbed and stable operation can easily be provided. |
