<p>PURPOSE:To make a set of mechanism serve both as a supercharged pressure controller and a speed limiter by a method wherein a supercharged pressure controller is utilized for assuring heat resistance and durability. CONSTITUTION:When vehicle speed does not exceed the specified maximum speed, a vihicle speed sensor 28 and a relay 26 are turned OFF disconnecting a solenoid 22 to open one supercharged pressure chamber 15b of an actuator 13 to atmosphere. When the supercharged pressure attains to the preliminarily specified value, a large diaphragm 14a and an operating rod 16 are pushed out against the tension of a spring 18 opening a waste gate valve 11 to release a part of waste gas from a bypass channel 10. When the vehicle speed attains to the specified maximum value during supercharged operation, the vehicle speed sensor 28 is turned ON resultantly turning a relay 26 ON closing an atmospheric port 25 to introduce the supercharged pressure into the supercharged pressure chamber 15b. Therefore the waste gate valve 11 may be opened to by-pass the waste gas before attaining to said specified value.</p> |
