PURPOSE:To minimize a difference in injection timing by electrically controlling a fine adjustment means which fine-adjusts the flow passage area between a high pressure chamber of a timer piston and a pressure regulating valve. CONSTITUTION:A timer piston 1 is connected to a roller ring 3 by a slide pin 4. When the timer piston 1 moves to the left, the injection timing is advanced. The fuel in a pressure chamber 9 in a pump is injected, and at the same time, introduced through a throttle into a timer piston high pressure chamber 10. A pressure regulator valve 7 controls the pressure in the timer piston high pressure chamber 10 by changing a ratio of its opening and closing to determine a timer piston position, i.e., injection timing. By this mechanism, a difference in injection timing can be minimized. |
