PURPOSE:To make the specimen in a vessel and the information recorded on a label coincident exactly with each other and to eliminate the waste of the label by performing recording on the label just prior to adhering the label onto the vessel. CONSTITUTION:When a specimen vessel 64 arrives at the adhering position of a label 16, a detection signal is outputted from a position detector 76 to a control section 70, by which the feed operation thereof is stopped and a feeder 72 for label backing paper is driven to feed label backing paper 14. The recording information for the specimen in the vessel 64 is transferred to a recording head 48 at the point of the time when the signal detecting the rear end 16R of the label 16 is outputted from a photosensor 62 to the section 70. The recording on the label 16 is thus performed at every one step. When the recording on the label 16 is completed in the above-mentioned way, the paper 14 is fed by 14 steps, and a vessel feeder 74 is driven so that the recorded label 16 is separated from the paper 14 and is adhered in the vessel 64. |
