PURPOSE:To permit the smooth and certain feeding of paper-sheet independently of the kind of paper-sheet by varying the standard height of a detector which is set in contact with the paper surface and maintains the standard height of the paper-surface with in a prescribed range by an adjusting means, in accordance with the kind of the paper- sheet. CONSTITUTION:A detector 21 for detecting the standard height of the paper surface 2a is arranged in contact with the surface 2a of the uppermost paper-sheet of a plural sheets of paper 2 which are piled in a paper feeding apparatus 1, and the standard height of the paper surface is kept within a prescribed range. In said paper feeding apparatus of a rotary press machine, the standard height of the detector 21 is varied by an adjusting means, in accordance with the kind of the paper-sheet. Said adjusting means is constituted of a driven member 31 which supports the detector 21 in the lower part and has, a driven plate 32 in the upper part, having an inclined surface, and a rotary switch 23 equipped with a rotary shaft 37 which contacts with the above-described inclined surface and has a driving contact piece 38a which revolves on a prescribed locus, and the height of the detector 21 is varied by the revolution of the rotary shaft 37. Therefore,the optimum resistance can be obtained on feeding paper-sheets, and smooth and certain paper-feeding is permitted. |
