<p>PURPOSE:To improve the effect of dust proofing, by sprinkling water within the limits of producing no overflow with the quantity of water sprinkling per unit time that is liable to overflow the water sprinkling from a pile surface, in case of dustproof operation by the water sprinkling. CONSTITUTION:Such a quantity of water sprinlking as turning to a well-humid balancing preparation for a surface layer part by means of the water sprinkling in time of stacking coal is given to a pile 1. Next, for the topper layer of the pile 1 being dried up by degrees, water is sprinkled onto the pile 1 from each of nozzles 2 and 3a, after opening a control valve 6b, according to the quantity of water sprinkling calculated from these data of wind velocity 3 and sunshine 4. The quantity of water sprinkling at that time is determined so as to cause it to be on the very threshold of overflowing from the topper layer before water is not penetrated up to a deep part of the innermost layer where dust of the pile 1 may not rise, and the topper layer is brought back to the original humidity balance. With this constitution, the effect of dustproofing is thus improved.</p> |
