PURPOSE:To stabilize the movement of dot wires by such an arrangement wherein a logical gate circuit for transferring only consecutive timing pulse signals to a print head is provided, and the width of pulse signals is made smaller than that of a single timing pulse signal and the cycle of those consecutive signals is made the same as that of the single signal. CONSTITUTION:Consecutive timing pulse signals Tb are caused to generate slower than a single Ta by a fixed period of time, print data D1, being synchronized with a fixed clock signal phi, are latched by flipflops 10, 11 and a pulse signal Pa corresponding to the signal Ta is generated by a signal Q1. At this time, the gate of a circuit 12 is closed by a signal Q2 and the transfer of the signal Ta is prohibited and a signal Pb corresponding to the signal Tb is generated by a signal Q1 of the following data D2. By this structure, the moving distance at the time of impact and printing pressure of drive waveforms H become constant and the signal Pb and Ta are synchronized and print speed is not changed. By this arrangement, consecutive print movement of a high speed printer is stabilized and positive printing can be accomplished. |
