PURPOSE:To make a lot of loads stowable ever so easy without the smallest strain, by installing a rack fitted with a horizontal guide rail in a setup stay, while making up a device so as to cause a pallet to be run freely along the horizontal guide rail from a stacker lane in a smooth manner, in case of a housing device for long materials including pipes, etc. CONSTITUTION:A pallet 8 being placed on a pipe 1 is made to travel along a rail 12 after being mounted on a conveyor 10c of a stacker crane 10a while a lifting body 10b is made to do its up-and-down motion and then the conveyor 10c is opposed to a rack frame 2 where loads should be housed. Next, the feeding direction of the conveyor 10c is turned to the rack side, then the pallet 8 is fed out to the rack side with the conveyor 10c, making a sliding member 9 slide on a guide rail 3, and fed to the extent of making contact with a stopper at the inmost part of the rack 2. In time of taking out, a fork of the stacker crane 10a is expanded as long as necessary whereby the pallet 8 is received on the conveyor 10a, thus a taking out job is performed. With this constitution, a load is taken out safely without the smallest strain. |
